Reef Trust IV Gully Remediation Design, Greening Australia

Neilly Group (NG) were engaged by Greening Australia to undertake design of remediation measures for two gullies located on Strathalbyn Station near Collinsville. The works designed included a rock chute and associated overland flow diversion bunds for remediation of gully erosion instigated by an access road, and design of reshaping and bank battering for remediation of alluvial gully erosion.

The works were funded under the Australian Government’s Reef Trust IV funding programme. The works were constructed by Rugendyke & Bashforth Contracting in partnership with FRUITION Environmental. The photographs show the gullies prior to and after the construction of the works designed by Neilly Group. Pre-construction photographs were supplied by Greening Australia. Post-construction photographs were supplied by FRUITION Environmental.
