Neilly Group (NG) were part of the consortium of local businesses, led by SMEC, which was awarded the tender to develop the $2.2 million Hells Gates Dam and Irrigation Scheme Feasibility Study. NG undertook flood modelling of over 200km of the Burdekin River to assess the potential flood impact of failure of the proposed Hells Gates Dam. The feasibility study has since been completed and will be made publicly available soon.
