Neilly Group (NG) undertook remediation design and construction of two alluvial gullies totalling 5.9ha adjacent to the Bowen River near Collinsville. NG undertook concept and detailed designs of remediation works for the site and presented the designs to key stakeholders. NG were then engaged to manage and undertake the construction as the principal contractor. The revegetation of the site included the application of gypsum, organics, fertiliser, seed and hydromulch. The project was delivered on time, on budget and is an example of large-scale erosion remediation best practice.
